About Us

The Art Therapy House, Inc. (ATH) provides services to individuals, organizations, and art therapists both professional and in training.  The mission of the ATH is to make available the healing capabilities of the creative process and of art therapy to persons in need. The range of people who benefit from ATH services is broad.  From youth through adolescence and adulthood, art therapy provides opportunities to increase creative coping skills, access and treat traumatic experience, normalize the lived experience, reframe history and build legacy, and encourage resilience and hope.

Art Therapy is...

Art therapy is a wellness practice facilitated by a credentialed Art Therapist that uses creative expression to enhance the quality of life.

Through partnerships with host organizations, foundations, and art therapy students and professionals, the Art Therapy House's goal is to spread the benefits of art therapy and creative process services through a wide range of persons, families, and communities.
