What is the Contemplation for Change Group?
Are you considering making changes that will have a profound impact on your life? Whether it's related to mental health or other factors impacting your life, this group offers a supportive space where you can explore your journey of transformation through art.

The Details:

Who: Adults
When: 2nd + 4th Saturdays from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Where: Art Therapy House Inc.
            7646 North Teutonia Avenue

Costs: FREE


In our sessions, we'll use various art techniques and mediums to facilitate self-reflection, self-discovery, and personal growth. Through the power of creativity, we'll delve into contemplative exercises, guided imagery, and expressive arts activities that encourage exploration, healing, and resilience.

This group meets on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month, providing you with consistent opportunities to connect with others who are also navigating change. Together, we'll share insights, support one another, and find inspiration in the creative process.

This group is open to all adults who are on the path of change and seeking support. No artistic experience is necessary - it's about the process of self-exploration and growth. Confidentiality and a non-judgmental atmosphere are maintained to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for everyone. Let's embark on this journey together, embracing the potential for positive change! 

In This Group You Will:

  • ​Supportive Environment: The group provides a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can openly share their thoughts and feelings about making important life changes.

  • Self-Reflection: It encourages self-reflection and introspection, helping participants gain deeper insights into their motivations, goals, and the changes they wish to make.

  • Goal Setting: Participants can work on setting realistic and achievable goals for the changes they want to make in their lives, with the support and guidance of the group facilitator.

  • Accountability: Group members can help hold each other accountable for making and sustaining positive changes, providing encouragement and motivation.
​
  • Coping Strategies: The group may explore coping strategies and creative techniques to manage challenges and obstacles that arise during the change process.
