MEET OUR TEAM

At Art Therapy House Inc. our team of art therapists are trained and credentialed mental health professionals. They have training in art-making, counseling, and art therapy. Art therapists are master-level clinicians who are guided by ethical standards and scope of practice. Their education and supervised training provides them with knowledge in human growth and development, psychological theories and practice, clinical practice, multicultural issues, and artistic skills and techniques.

Jill V McNutt,
​Ph.D., ATR-BC, ATRL, LPC

Executive Administrator, Clinical Supervisor, & Art Therapist

Jill McNutt is a board certified, licensed art psychotherapist and licensed professional counselor who brings over fifteen years of practice centered in youth services, psycho-social treatment for medical care, psychiatric treatment, art therapy training and supervision to the Art Therapy House practice.

Karina Rochette, MS, ATR
Art Therapist

Karina, an art therapist with 4 years of experience in educational settings, co-facilitates open studio groups at Art Therapy House Inc. and works at a community-based residential facility in Wauwatosa. With a BFA in sculpture from Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and an MS in art therapy from Mount Mary University, she emphasizes client-centered care, drawing on over 15 years of puppet design experience.​

Sara Skyles, BFA
Graduate Intern

Sara is a current graduate intern who joined the Art Therapy House Inc. team in February of 2024. She is currently attending Mount Mary University with the goal of receiving her master’s degree in Art Therapy. From a young age, Sara has been fascinated with the narratives unique to each person and how their stories unfold to them. She is especially interested in how we can rewrite our stories and change the endings.  Sara believes in the power of transformation through the engagement of the arts and the healing qualities that can be obtained through art making. ​
