At Art Therapy House Inc. our team of art therapists are trained and credentialed mental health professionals. They have training in art-making, counseling, and art therapy. Art therapists are master-level clinicians who are guided by ethical standards and scope of practice. Their education and supervised training provides them with knowledge in human growth and development, psychological theories and practice, clinical practice, multicultural issues, and artistic skills and techniques.

Jill McNutt is a board certified, licensed art psychotherapist and licensed professional counselor who brings over fifteen years of practice centered in youth services, psycho-social treatment for medical care, psychiatric treatment, art therapy training and supervision to the Art Therapy House practice.

Melissa is the Operations Administrator and an art therapy assistant at Art Therapy House Inc. She has her Bachelors degree in the fine arts and has several years of experience as a practicing fine artist with an interest in the power of creative art-making and expression.

Mira is a registered art therapist with Art Therapy House Inc. With over 10+ years of clinical and community work, she has experience bringing creativity in connection with earth to foster mutual wellness and growth.

Alek Bohnak is an art therapy assistant at Art Therapy House Inc. With a passion for leveraging art for healing and personal growth, he guides individuals through self-discovery using various mediums, drawing from his background as an artist and educator.

Karina Rochette, MS, ATR
Art Therapist

Karina, an art therapist with 4 years of experience in educational settings, co-facilitates open studio groups at Art Therapy House Inc. and works at a community-based residential facility in Wauwatosa. With a BFA in sculpture from Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and an MS in art therapy from Mount Mary University, she emphasizes client-centered care, drawing on over 15 years of puppet design experience.​
